This is a white earth area and it relates to the 'earth' of porcelain. It is like a mountain with a hard veneer and softness deep inside, such that it symoblises a container. The knowledge area relates to the hours between 1am
                       and 4am, the time of stillness before dawn has begun, and the time when revolution and
                           change are carefully plotted. It is an area where you can realise what you want and
                             what is happening in your life. It also relates to inner knowledge and the chi here is
                             still and a little dangerous, this is the area that spirits come in through.

                            Health
                     Be careful how and where you put water in this area. The knowledge area relates to the
pancreas. The deepest organ in the body and the most yang of all the organs. To keep this area healthy,
happy and strong it needs to be warm and bright so choose your decorating colours carefully. The
knowledge area also relates to your hands so if you have arthritis in your hands, or you are a painter
or sculptor you may want to place some cures here such as a crystal or something pink.

Missing or Extended Areas
Mentally draw a line down the centre of your home. Or draw a plan and mark in pencil. If the area that
is missing is equal or less than half of the total external wall measurement it is a missing area.  If
however, the missing area is greater than half of the total external wall measurement then you have
an extended area.

Missing Knowledge Area
If the area is missing, people living here will tend not to be very
interested in learning anything new or reading books. They will
tend to inflexible in their views and it can be more difficult for a
couple to conceive a child while living in this house.

Extended Knowledge Area
If this area is extended, it can lead to the occupants become more selfish, but they will have enquiring minds and always be interested in learning something new.
