Welcome to the Sarah Shurety's web site!

Here you'll find the ultimate source of quality supplies & information!

Sarah Shurety is Britain's leading consultant with an international following. Sarah gives consultations to both homes and businesses. Clients who have consulted her include MARS Confectionery, Reuters, Lloyds Bank, Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank, Gloria Hunniford, Jilly Cooper and many more. Sarah appears regularly on television, radio and in many national & international newspapers giving advice to people seeking information.

The modern Chinese still set great store by it, many contemporary buildings are built following advice from a consultant. Not least, the futuristic looking multimillion –pound edifice of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank (HKSB), where the entrance was positioned to facilitate the flow of chi. ‘It’s an accepted part of life in China,’ says Alex Cheeseman, spokes-woman for HKSB’s London office. And in the western world, it is gaining credibility: Virgin Airlines, Marks & Spencer and even the bank of England have subscribed to the ancient art. Sarah has also filmed a series for ITV’s Good morning programme. Feng Shui may sound alarmingly ‘alternative’ and new Age, but Sarah’s clients include stockbrokers, doctors and architects.

Her columns in Xing Tao, a leading Chinese newspaper, in the Saturday Telegraph and in the Daily Mail are all testimony to Sarah's vast knowledge and expertise.

Powerful energy
Sarah explains, it's all to do with invisible but powerful lines of energy known as chi running the earth and through the body. If the energy runs smoothly and free, the person will enjoy good health but if it becomes trapped or imbalanced, disease or illness could follow. That same energy runs through the environment and can become stuck or imbalanced in houses and offices, just as it can in the body. And with similar effect; stagnant or unchannelled energy can result in ill fortune.

‘In such a place, you might find frequent electricity problems, the fax will break and the computers regularly go down. It is the energy that is having that effect,’ explains Sarah. It is also why you might go into one house and instantly feel tense, and into another, and feel relaxed.

But can changes as simple as hanging mirrors on walls and draping plants around really make a dramatic difference to the direction of our lives? Isn’t it just common sense to use mirrors to increase natural light and soothing green plants to improve our environment and hence our spirits?

Home and Country contacted two of Sarah’s recent consultees. She visited Jill Ashenhurst and her unemployed husband Alex at their home in Bromley in May at a time when their fortunes were low. Her advice was to clear under the stairs the ‘health area’ and the conservatory and back lobby the ‘money area’. Jill was sceptical but within three months, she claims, her health problems had improved and Alex had secured work. ‘I don’t know if it was all coincidence but I feel there is certainly something in it,’ says Jill.

A message from the designer of this site, William J. Moore

"For the techies out there who reuested the info of how the main site was made, here goes! -most images were web optimized in Photoshop & Image Ready. You'll find that most images that are photos are j-pegs, as they are supposed to be, and any image that is under 256 colours is a gif, again as supposed to be. This optimizes all pages for quickest download.

All catalog pages are made with an excellent e-commerce package called 'Actinic' from www.actinic.co.uk -I didn't say it was an easy package, though when you master the basics, the rest is just fine tuning the shop to you own requirements. Shopping pages are generated automatically by this software, then comes the hard part of matching images to products, and inserting code to emphasize text.
